How We Got Started

Hi, my name is Carrie. I am 29, she/her, born and raised in Honolulu, HI. Sometimes anxious, all the times grateful. I love plants, dogs, and baking. 

I had the idea to start Caring Catalogs a little while after I lost my beautiful Momma in December 2020.  My mom taught me what true unconditional love looks like. She was a ray of sunshine in many lives, touching those around her in such a positive way, no matter who she was with, where she was, or the situation. She shaped my values, stressing the importance of empathy and kindness, honesty and love. I hope to pass along the same values with Caring Catalogs. Life is hard enough as it is, my goal in creating Caring Catalogs is to help make life just a little bit easier. 

In my life, I have been so lucky to always have been surrounded by love, blood or not. And though life can get scary and uncomfortable sometimes, I believe love is the key to peace. Well, one of the keys. This brand is about finding, cultivating, and sharing peace. In relationships, in the day-to-day, in life. Welcome. I'm glad you are here.
